The Bridge to Building Solid Websites
The effective technological bridge to implementing standards-based websites is the strict and thoughtful use of a Hyper Text Mark-up Language (html) and Cascading Style Sheets (css). The html must be semantically correct to define the structure of website content. The css must be logically applied to allow the beauty of the web design to shine through the structure. When these 2 technologies are used appropriately the result is pure separation of content and design which will greatly reduce code bulk, enhance accessibility and naturally optimize the site for search engines.
All the designs in this web portfolio were implemented by Taliesin Smith using html and css to effectively bridge the beautiful designs with the content structure. I do not take credit for the actual design concepts, unless explicitly stated.
